In Bright Lights, there in an animation error causing her to appear in the background when she wasn’t meant to.

She has a major role in part one of The Return of Tambelon. When the others were playing hide and seek, she couldn’t find anywhere to hide. So she winked out even though it was against the rules. She had a hard time winking back in at first, but with encouragement, she was able to. When they resumed playing, Baby Ribbon again couldn’t find a place to hide so she winked out. However, she was unaware that while she was looking for a place to hide, now any unicorn could wink out but would be sent to Tambelon. When she winked out and couldn’t be found, Ribbon concluded that she was having more trouble then usual and winked out to go find her, resulting in them both being captured.

In Little Piece of Magic, Baby Ribbon played with the other babies. Baby Tiddly Winks wanted to play checkers, but it was high up on a shelf. After Baby Lofty failed to fly up and grab it, Baby Ribbon winked to go get it, but her legs didn’t come with her. Luckily, her mother and Buttons heard Baby Lofty crash and went to go check on them. Ribbon winked up and winks Baby Ribbon’s legs and then winking them down. The adults then tell them to play make believe. Baby Ribbon imagines the ball turning into her good luck charm, allowing her to wink in and out perfectly. She then opens a school of winking where creatures can learn how to wink in and out. As soon as they graduate, Baby Ribbon takes off the good luck charm, as she no longer needs it to wink in and out. Baby Ribbon then winks herself to a tropical vacation after saying good bye to the ball. Her next appearances are all non speaking.
